Short Description: STAUBCO® Geo N

STAUBCO® Geo N is a long-term antifreeze that has been specially developed for geothermal applications. It is ideal for use in geothermal systems such as brine-to-water heat pumps. It is also suitable for a wide range of heating and cooling systems based on renewable energies. STAUBCO® Geo N is also a good choice for industrial applications where heat must be reliably transferred and the system protected against frost.

STAUBCO® Geo N is an odorless liquid based on monoethylene glycol. Due to its composition, it is non-toxic, readily biodegradable and therefore extremely environmentally friendly.

STAUBCO® Geo N is available in various dilutions and package sizes.

Product properties

of STAUBCO® Geo N

Basis

STAUBCO® Geo N is based on monoethylene glycol. It can therefore be diluted with water and mixed with other monoethylene glycol-based antifreezes.

Antifreeze protection

STAUBCO® Geo N reliably protects your system against frost. For details on the antifreeze properties of different concentrations, please refer to the product information. Please note: The cooling brine content should be at least 25 % by volume, otherwise your system will not be reliably protected against corrosion.

Corrosion protection

STAUBCO® Geo N contains corrosion inhibitors that protect metals, plastics and sealing materials against corrosion. Layer formation and deposits are also effectively prevented. This ensures that the efficiency of your system is maintained. Only system components made of zinc should be avoided, as zinc is not resistant to glycols.
